Branches Of Government

There are three branches of government.

Executive
The executive branch includes the President, Vice President, and the Cabinet. The President has the power to enforce laws, direct foreighn policy, nagotiate treaties, appoint ambassardors, propose laws to congress, and tell armies where to go. The president is also a symbolic representative of the US, and gets to meet with foreighn leaders. The Vice dosn't do as much, he/she only has two jobs, step in if the president dies, and break a fifty-fifty tie with his/her vote in senate. The Cabinet advises the President and is resposible for certian agencies.

Judicial
The Judicial branch contains the courts. First there is the supreme court. The supreme court makes a judicial review, which means they review laws and conditions to see if they are constitutional. Then there is the Apellit Courts which reveiw court decisions. Last there is the state courts which hear cases.

Legeslative
The Legeslative branch is the capital. There are the two houses in the capital. The House of representatives, which is based on population, can't make laws, can impeach, starts spending tax laws, and chechs the executive branch. The senate has two representatives per state. It can make laws, tries impeached officials, ratifies appointed treaties, and also checks the executive branch.

I think the executive branch has a little less power then the other two, exept that the president has all the power that a lot of people share in the courts.
