Magna Carta
The Magna Carta said the power of the monarch, or ruler, was limitted. It established
the principles of limitted government. It protected noble's rights, and and granted rights to land owners.

English Bill of Rights
The English Bill of Rights stated monarchs could not suspend parliment laws, impose taxes,
create courts, or have an army without the parliament's concent. And parliment portected the fallowing rights, the right to
elect a ruler, the right of freedom of speech, the right to have a trial by jury of peers, and the right to not be victim
to cruel or unusual punishment.
